Good morning FB family and friends! I was given the number 8 by my daughter in law, Kaete Piccirilli...so here goes.... 1. I love being a Mom!! My kids(boys, DIL, future DIL and granddaughter) are the center of my world!! 2. I have been married to Steve for over 32 years and still going. We met at Carrolls sorta like a McDonalds where we both worked at teenagers...the first 10 years were the hardest..Marriage is a lot of hardwork....teamwork too. 3. I love to read...mostly romance stuff but a good murder mystery is a nice change. 4. I LOVE living in the South! I would rather hibernate from 100 degree temps than freeze my butt off in 62 below wind chill days up North. Yes, I miss yall up there...just not your weather. Snow is only pretty from inside the house looking out with no where to go. And down here..it belongs in a glass ball you shake! 5. I hate my straight hair. Thanks to my Dad who shared his thick, straight hair with me. A little bend would have been nice. But I do like it is turning salt and peppery. :) 6. I LOVE My job!! Yes, I can see yall shaking your heads and laughing!! Working with the kids before and after surgery has been awesome! Now it only took me over 35 years to find THEE job...I know I used to change jobs a lot and it was a big joke in our family. The plan is to retire from this one..... 7. I can be a type A cleanaholic at times and messy lots more these days. I know my kids are laughing at this. I get OCD when it comes to cleaning the bathrooms often but the dust....well if I keep my glasses off when I walk around the house..it can wait! And Steve and I live out here in the sticks with no one visiting, so it does get messy at times. 8. I still love Christmas and want the Oh wow!! I love it!! reaction from gifts I shop for. There is a picture of Joe Piccirilli pulling a Curious George out of a box on our living wall from a Christmas long ago. The look on his face is what I strive for each and every year. It doesnt have to be big gifts...just want the person receiving to know it comes from the heart.
