Good morning, I wish I had good news about my Lumia 1020, but unfortunately, this phone is driving me crazy. I just bought my phone 8 months ago in NYC and as soon as I came back to Brazil, the many problems started to appear. First: the flash light was on forever, even with the phone off, that light was on. The camera was not opening. I took the phone to the authorized assistance PLL Moema who charged me 200 bucks to ‘fix’ this issue. They said that the problem was the sensor of the camera. They made me wait for 2 months to get this fixed, but that’s fine, I waited. Second problem: Now the camera opens! But the videos are not capturing audio. I can only make mute videos, and the problems are not on the settings, because I have gone crazy reading articles, tutorials and trying to do something about this, but nothing worked and I took my phone to the authorized assistance PLL Moema again. Believe it or not, one week after getting my phone back from their hands, they said that I would have to pay more 200 bucks. Third and worst problem: No way! My camera does not have even 5 Megapixels….the photos that I take with my phone are just horrible….My friend, who is a photographer took a few photos with my phone and said: “This is awful”. But do you know what is even more awful? I went to the authorized assistance PLL Moema again, and they said that the sensor of the camera has nothing to do with the quality of the images, and that if I want to check what is going on, I would have to pay even more money for them just to check! And even much more to fix! But I will never let them ‘fix’ my phone again…the last time I have trusted on them, I got a Nokia Lumia 1020 with a maximum of 5 Megapixels sensor back! The conclusion- I wonder: “How will #nokia ‘s #lumia #1020 beat #apple ‘s #iphone if this the treatment that I have as a costumer? And the product I bought and trusted it is far from being what I saw on the advertise.
