Good morning Mr. President! First of all, I must congratulate you - TopicsExpress

Good morning Mr. President! First of all, I must congratulate you on your second victory at the 2012 Presidential Elections. Even though this is what most Ghanaians anticipated, it is worth acknowledging that it was a good fight. Mr. President and my kinsman, it is my humble opinion that we must not allow these victories to dilute our thoughts and minds. With a very heavy heart, I strongly believe this is the time for a massive and vigorous shake-up in the government. I mean, reshuffle is what must take place now and not any other time. Some of your appointees, especially some Deputy Ministers, with all due respect, are very sub-standard and mediocre as they seemingly know not what they are about. They think jumping from one radio studios to the other like anxious butterflies is why you appointed them into office. At a time when they are seriously needed to contribute significantly to the development of the better Ghana agenda, they are seeing lobbying radio producers to participate in unhealthy politicking on air. More worrying is, if they were to go on radio to explain and communicate your policies, it wouldn’t hurt. But they are heard making statements that do not depict your character and style of your leadership. I am also of the opinion that communicating government policies to the citizenry should be done by the Information Ministry, which is already being done and also for the Information Service Department to inform the rural folks which I think is either not being done or inadequate. This is my humble observation as a Ghanaian. Mr. President, please, some corporate guys, a large section of the academia, the business community, discerning voters and the elites are angered by the behaviour of some of your appointees and this is either directly or indirectly affecting your government. Your Excellency, this is just a preamble and I will come up with detailed suggestions depending on your response. Thank you very much for squeezing time out of your busy schedule to glance/read my brief. Your Excellency, kindly forgive me where I erred in my write-up. Sincerely yours in-service, Muftaw Mohammed Baako [email protected]
