Good morning all. Such dramatic events as a result of the high rainfall seem to abound throughout the country. Today we still have a damp and dismal day but here in the Highlands its the kind of weather we expect and are famed for, the recent weeks of fabulous sunshine have been an unexpected bonus! Here in the bookshop and cafe we have an oasis of dry and lots of books and prints to browse, with good coffee, cake and light meals to sustain you! Our two soups today are: gardeners broth or spicy vegetable, both with a choice of crusty bread, oatcakes or gluten free bread. £3.60 Our lunch deal is a filled sandwich or toastie with a smaller portion of soup £4.90, or a filled panini with a smaller soup for £5.45. There is a choice of fillings with smoked salmon and cream cheese available for an extra £1.00
