Good morning, everyone! We are back into the deep freeze! It is cold, my dog goes out & comes right back in pretty fast! I finished my mukluks I was working on yesterday. Made some feet for moccasins & worked on my beadwork so it was a decent work day. I am behind on my beadwork but my hands are not interested in doing beadwork! I have those days, hopefully doesn`t last long. I just do what the hands will allow. Bigger things like sewing are ok but fine stuff like beading not so much but everything will get done, all in good time. My little one went home yesterday so I was able to work. She is just too funny. We can do a week or so then get tired of each others company! I tell her to please clean up her mess & she says she`s tired, she`s had enough & is going home!. Then I tell her, that`s fine but I am tossing out her shit if I have to clean it up! Eventually we both clean up but she sure is a messy little devil! After a week I can`t stand any more Scuby Do or Toopy & Beanu or any damn cartoons! She is so much like her Mother, it`s funny, she even looks like her! At least she slept in her bed one night! She loves to sleep with us, little bedhog! I still have a Christmas present I haven`t finished going on! No time to do the beadwork but it won`t take long when I finally get to it. This has been a very busy season. So happy I didn`t take much custom beadwork, I still have some to do. I think next year I may not take any at all. I get tied up with having to do beadwork & it slows down everything else. I will still do some but people will have to just watch for the stuff I do get to do. Custom beadwork is very time consuming, I don`t think anyone realizes how long it takes to do! More people have to learn how to do it, it is an art that very relaxing if done on one`s own time. I like beading when I`m watching Tv but I only watch an hr or so during the day & a couple of hrs in the evening so that doesn`t give me a lot of beading time! I`m looking forward to summer & seeing what my labours produced! I moved plants & bulbs around last fall. Put in more lillies & all kinds of other flowers so it should be interesting. If I want to plant more I need to dig more flowerbeds!. In a year of two Claude`s orchard will be producing all kinds of fruit as well so that will be awesome. I have to decide if I want my lilacs cut down & restarted, they are trying to take over my lilly garden. Maybe plant the kind that don`t spread. Well I think I will go have my coffee & decide what I want to do today. Have my smudge, I will send out happy thoughts this cold morning! Smile, winter is half over! Looking forward to summer!!
