Good morning fb family and friends. Does everyone feel blessed today? well you should. Its a new day. A new day to star all over again. We had awesome church service yesterday. Last Sunday we didnt have church. Our Pastor took a break. Much needed rest. But gave us permission to visit another church. So i did. Last Sunday I visited New Light. Had church with my other friends and family. My grandchildren go there. So that was my choice to go. I thought about playing hookie, but i know my week would of been off completely. I had a great time there. It was exciting to see the kids leading devotion when i got there. Then when they finished that they headed for the choir stand to sing. I guess it was the youth s day to lead the service. But while they were heading to the choir stand my grand daughters noticed me and just grinned from ear to ear. So did I. They song there songs beautifully and looked cute while they were doing it. Church service was really nice. I enjoyed every thing. Now to yesterday. Pastors subject ; The Stages Of Our Faith. Scrip. He . 11: 1-3 & 6. He says it is up to you to keep your faith. It has nothing to do with anything or anyone but you yourself. No matter whats going on around you. Or in your life you have to keep your faith. Once you begin your life in Christ. You give your life to him. You are going to have some obstacles that are going to test your faith. You have to be strong in your faith. You have to have a lot of faith to complete your goals. You dont want a little faith. To which you would think you couldnt do something and your way of thinking would be like. Well I think I can do it. Or I know I cant do that. Your faith and belief should be strong so you feel that there is nothing you cannot do. Your thinking should be like yes Im gonna do it I know I can do It. Yes i can. He talk about his father only having an 8th grade education because back in the day the boys in the family had to go to work to help the family and the girls went to school. So the boys had to drop out and get a job to help the family to survive. So his father worked for many years for a company until it closed down. Then he was without a job for a while. He was up in age no degree or high school deploma. So he went back and got his GED. And said Ohhh i will have me a job next week. He said he asked his dad how are going to do that. His dad said watch and see . Im gonna have me a job. All they have to do is let me in the door because I can do anything. Now he had some strong faith. Next thing he knew he called his dad. He said oh son Im going to be sorting the mail for the city just like you. He thought his dad might have been doing something smaller than that til he went home to visit. He saw that his dad was working with the same size machinery he was working with. He said he was shocked. It just goes to show you what you can do if you just have faith. God bless each of you.
