Good morning folks Now that it seems the controversy over which tape is doctored has been somewhat settled by the confirmation of the Ashanti Region correspondent of Joy fm that he has the same recording the ministry of information released I have two questions. 1. If Joyfm and others did not get the clip from their correspondent where did the first tape come from? 2. Why did senior journalists and media experts who criminalized the broadcasting of AUTHENTIC hate/ethnic speeches( Ken Agyepong, Nana, Ursula, Karbo etc) brazenly broadcast repeatedly, discussed and analyzed the presidents speech believing that it was a hate/ethnic speech? Their earlier arguments that broadcasting and discussing hate/ethnic speeches give it mileage which fan and incite affected groups to fight was lost on them. Now that you have seen what they have done with a doctored or at least a controversial tape when the shoe was on the other feet you will not be deceived when they pontificate about what is appropriate journalism and what is not. They seek to always protect their political friends and will do worst when the shoe is on the other feet. In the meantime join me on the GPD, 90.5fm it is.
