****** Good morning world, I am walking through crowded streets with hundreds of people interchanging and crossing paths,actually,you would think that they can crash. ****** This is true,no poetry or utopia or even the idealism that Mzenga Mumo Wa Makundi accused me of. ****** I pause and look ahead of me,i stand and turn behind me,i smile but unable to. Nothing to smile about. ****** I am haunted by magnificent looks of a world i equally walked in her streets. A world where if you are poor,you dont say,you dont show. Poor to imply that unlike Nairobi and other towns,a little slumber could send you to bed hungry. ****** The face of Berlin,Washington,Frankfurt,New York, Cologne is enough to inspire you to live,to work hard and to hope. And before you rush to allege that that is first world,Kigali Rwanda rides in this radar. In the streets i walk,the first impression that greets you,is of a suffering people,poverty-stricken children,irresponsible leaders,broken families and hopeless youths,yearning for the basic human right------food. ****** I know of American families that are not as wealthy as many of the families you know right in the midst of this mess. But its like the African souls are allowed to carry their wealth beyond the grave,they die with stinking loads of uncommitted cash. ****** These American families,saves for long periods of labour to come to Africa to help educate a child,put up a house for street families,clothe the breasts of naked damsels and empower young people to stand. ****** Incredibly,the wealthy African families are the first to scramble for the saved earnings,they want a share,a share to add to the banks reserves,can you imagine! What do you call this in English,gluttony?,No,greed!,No,Satanism!,No......English is yet to identify this transgression. ****** Africa must rise and look around. ****** Our wealthy men and women must shield the desperate among them. The governments must prioritise sending hunger,nakedness,diseases and homelessness to the grave. The people must join and share their wealth. It must be. ****** Half of the challenges as a nation are unnecessary,we can join hands and eradicate them,far reaching challenges like terror will then be tackled and defeated by descent, clothed,hopeful and inspired people. ****** Living in complete opulence,in the midst of acute poverty-stricken human being neighbors is unaffordable. ****** He who shares his wealth with the needy assist God in his stewardship. ****** This does not start when you become rich,it start the next moment you step out with the aim of making a difference. ****** When you gulp bottles of sedatives,read beer,in exclusive resorts,in the name of recreation,that is the money i am referring to,as a bridge that can carry drop out girl back to school. ****** The day you finalized that transaction to procure a second car for show off,you just denied your self a momentous opportunity to buy a mother a sack of flour to feed her children,whose father you killed in pursuit of power. ****** ...........May continue. ********** Zack Kinuthia Signed at 11:29am.
