Good morning yall (however you spell that) sorry I didnt get on the computer yesterday - it was a crazy day! I will start with happenings on Friday - of course there were phone calls and paper work for the PET Scan - that was all taken care of appointment set for 8:00 am Saturday morning. Got Dupas Social Security application filled out on line - I had to call our cancer counselor Iva to get the medical diagnosis Dupa has Poorly Differentiated Adenocarcinoma - you can all look it up on line - Dupa and I have choose not too. I ran into town do drop off papers at SS office, ran through Wal-mart, and then home. We hung out hand dinner and watched a movie. Bed early... he needs his sleep. Dupa is taken twice the amount of pain pills as he was just 2 days ago. BUT he is eating lots of tuna, fruit shakes and ensure and all good stuff! swallowing is the hard part! Anyway long story short he starts getting his Social Security starting Feb. 1st and he doesnt have to worry about working. Makes him and I feel better - he just wants to concentrate on getting healthy. Yesterday Amanda hung out and did her laundry - helped with a few things - we got a few things together for her house. We all watched Pat and Lou Achmans wedding tape that the kids did for their 50th Anniversary. I thing that John, Bev Feller and Miss Peggy really enjoyed watching it. Seeing everyone growing up! I know we shed a few tears - remember good times playing cards at Deb & Den Achmans, watching Lori, Hannah Beise and Jeffery grow up, Buzz, Dennis, Dillon and Ricky what charmers, wonder why they got the pretty wife and girlfriends - great times watching those boys wrestle at Lathrop. Watching Sarah and Amanda Achman - when they were just little - love those pictures!! It was a good time. Our friends Don and Laura Dettman - brought over the most amazing fish chowder for dinner - and we had Teri Ebel leftover Sweet potato Minestrone soup, some corn bread and crackers with a glass of wine - different people all different wine. Then I found our Picture album of when we went to Cabo San Lucas with our dear friends Helen McLean, Michael N McLean and David Lanni. Dupa told stories and we laughed. Then he went and laid down for a few hours as he was tired. By the way he got the WII hooked up and his now looking for competition in Mario Cart - Chucky beet him yesterday - by the way Chucky is sad sometimes but hanging in there. So that was Saturday - down 1 pound (166) and fever still on the lower side 97.3.
