Good session at the Saturday Songwriters Workshop today. Myself, Brian and Barb. I havent had much chance to write anything new this month but got caught up on a few fairly recent songs. Barb shared the song that started off her day with a smile and one about a failure to communicate. Shes going to work on her Strother Martin accent. Brian played a few off his Greatest Hits Album. We wrote this song. It goes to the tune of Car 54 Where Are You? Theres a crazy group of songwriters Down at the MCC But one of them is missing Lets put out an APB Theyve got lots of songs to share But their leaders never there Sean McGaughey Where Are You? We decided our homework/challenge would be to write a campaign song and maybe sell it to a desperate local candidate.
