Got out for my run today. What a wonderful, marvelous day for it! Its 9 c and sunny here. No blooms caught my eye today. My thoughts were somewhere else. I cannot wait to be living outside in the beautiful natural setting that my heart yearns for every winter. Get all these clothes off my back. The weeks are waning on my full time work career. The countdown begins...23 days remaining! An exciting new chapter featuring making decisions to work only for the priorities I establish. Having the time to chase my dreams and more chances to do the things you always wanted...if only you had the time. Some thoughts on it. Its now a 42 year career and the finish line is in sight...not unlike the Marathon. Todays world allows the freedom for a softened transition to retired life...and I intend to take full advantage. I am so grateful for the health of this body God gave me. Grateful also to have discovered my souls purpose and the courage to act upon it.
