Got part of this post from the Proverbs 31 site: Sometimes hurt is temporary… like a break-up or disappointment. But other times hurt comes in the form of a loss that cuts into your heart so viciously it forever redefines who you are and how you think. Its called deep grief. The kind that strains against everything youve ever believed. So much so you wonder how the promises that seemed so real on those thin Bible pages yesterday could ever possibly stand up under the weight of your enormous sadness today. I want to encourage you to press on. I used to think that those lost pieces of your heart could not mend completely, that they would never be the same...but I no longer see the heart as broken beyond repair, I see it as broken to grow stronger and bigger, more full of love than ever!
