Got pulled over for speeding & following too closely. Argued with the cop about the logistics of being a car length separate for every 10 mph. I asked him what if Im driving a mini or a limo? Do I need to 7 mini or limo lengths behind the car if Im going to 70? Btw, I was going 76 in a 70, with the flow of traffic and pointed out how many cars werent 7 car lengths behind each other as he was at my window. I also pointed out that he was on my ass & certainly wasnt 7 car lengths behind me. He said, well Im a highway patrol officer. I said ok, that doesnt make you above the law. Long story short, I got off with warnings. Ill chalk that up as a win.
