Got some good news this week. Head cyst benign!!! Yay!!! Then went to stomach dr and because of all this laying around I now have bronchitis and pneumonia..ugh..yes back to bed I go. She also informed me they had to remove entire rightside of colon /bowel..my appendix and several lymphnodes and with my line of work said its a 6 mo recovery not 2 mo. and will have to watch everything I eat from now on. I just find it odd that he did not tell me any of that. I know I dont need my appendix but feel its kind of important to know I dont have one and the piece of mind it gave me knowing lymphnodes were clear would of been nice to know also. I go in thurs for another small procedure so very curious to see if he shares all of this with me. She said he absolutely saved me because just a few months down the road would of been a whole different ball game. Which brings me to this. Please my family my friends do not put off getting your colonoscopy. It was 2 yrs ago they first told me I needed one but no insurance. Had I done it then I would not be going through this now. The procedure itself is nothing (you are knocked out)the prep is the worst part but I think we would all agree that 2 days in the bathroom is better than 6 feet under..so please get checked!!
