Gothic Meets Klassik is an ongoing performance project that backs up Industrial and Goth bands with a full orchestra. Something incredibly lame when someone like Metallica does it but is just incredible with the likes of FLA. Ive tried for years to defend not only most genres of electronic music as technically valid but Industrial in particular as being much more complex and competent musically speaking than most people want to give it credit for. This project goes a long way to show some of that. Sadly, none of these have been released as recordings. Famously the first one with VNV had recording issues no one noticed until the mastering. So much of the detail and FLAs use of polyrhythms and dense soundscapes cant really be heard here but you get the picture.
