Gov. Fashola continuous Rehabilitation of Destitute. Too many untreated mentally ill people roaming round in Nigeria. They need urgent treatment and rehabilitation back to their state of origin so that their families can take good care of them other wise thy will keep on as vagrant psychotics and may eventually get lost. Governors should collaborate and jointly fund mental health treatment of citizens that can not afford treatment. Every state has their own budget and should use it wisely on the welfare of their citizens. There is catchment policies and responsibilities of Local Government and even Boroughs where you pay your council tax to to take care of your mental health ,provide rehabilitation and housing needs even in the UK and other countries. Pls let us leave tribalism and politics out of this ,every State and Local Government should take care of their citizens ,especially the poor and the sick who are not contributing or paying tax. Fashola has rehabilitated Ogun ,Oyo state indigenes back to their states few years ago so it is not new. It is also about security ,tourism ,mega city status of Lagos,not every one can afford to live in such an expensive and sophist acted modern city. My Driver is from one of the Northern state ,unknown to me he was removed middle of the night few months ago by soldiers due to Security Surveillance and Risk Information. We can not wait for Lagos to be attacked before the Government take appropriate proactive measures .Normally ,the Government officials of affected states would have been advised to arrange to take care of their citizens,before a final action is taken to rehabilitate. Social workers drop people in their home addresses if they are abandoned and blocking resources any where in the World.
