Governor Akpabio appoints 4 new commissioners; forward names to AKHA for screening The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, CON has forwarded the under listed names for screening by the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly as Honourable Commissioners and Special Adviser in the State. Akpabio, yesterday 7th October, 2013, relieved three Commissioners and a Special Adviser, viz; Barr. Austin Mbeh, Mr. Martyns Udoinyang, Mr. Sunny Ayang, and Mr. Sam Frank from the State Executive Council In a letter addressed to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Samuel Ikon, which was read by the Ag. Clerk of the House, Mrs. Mandu Umoren, in line with section 192(2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the governor had forwarded the following names for appointment to the office of Commissioners/Special Adviser for screening and confirmation by the State House of Assembly. Hon. Prince Godwin Ntukude, Akan E. Okon, Ufot Tobi Nkangude and Hon. Monday Ebong Uko as Commissioners while Mr. Emmanuel Ibiok has been nominated as Special Adviser. Meanwhile, Mr. Sam Nkaiso Okpo, has been confirmed as commissioner III, Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission. The Speaker Akwa Ibom State House Of Assembly referred the letter to the House Committee on Judiciary, Justice, Public Petitions and Human Right for thorough screening and presentation to the House.
