Govt Suspends Mechanised Vehicle Inspection The Ministry of Transport and Communication has suspended the use of the mechanized vehicle inspection system owing to various complaints from the public. Transport and Communication Minister Yamfwa Mukanga said the Road Traffic and Safety Agency would now revert to the manual system until they had ascertained the efficiency of the mechanized testing system. Mukanga said a deadline of up to February 1 had been set for the system to be rectified.
