Grace be to you and peace from God: the Father, and from our Lord - TopicsExpress

Grace be to you and peace from God: the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1:3-5 One day Christ will reign in his kingdom on earth, there all his people will live with Him, This truth should encourage us to continue with our Christian walk and to look forward to the Messiah’s reign. Winning a race requires purpose and discipline, as Christians we are running toward our heavenly reward. The essential disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and worship equip us to run with vigor and stamina, -we have to train diligently – our spiritual progress depends upon it. At times we must be ready even to give up something good, something that we value in order to do what God wants. As followers of Christ we must give Him our total allegiance. We cannot have part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. God’s love must so permeate our motives that all we do will be for his glory. Someday we will see Christ in person and be able to see with God’s perspective, thus the more we become like Christ, the more love we will show to others. Although believers have received salvation, very few of us live our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. Few Christians are aware of what it means to live by the Spirit--to be led by the Spirit in their daily lives as God intended. To “abide” is to live, continue, or remain; so, to abide in Christ is to live in Him or remain in Him. When a person is saved, he or she is described as being “in Christ,” held secure in a permanent relationship, Abiding in Christ means to be one with Him by faith. It is to live in conscious dependence upon Him, recognizing that it is His life, His power, His wisdom, His strength, and His ability operating through us that enable us to live according to His will. Jesus said, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in Him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) The abiding life, we in Christ, He in us, enables us to live a victorious and fruitful life. May God bless your day, Remember, God loves you so much, more than you can imagine, keep on believing and trusting God with every detail of your life, and you will never be ashamed, for those who trust in the Lord are like Mt. Zion that will never be shaken forever and ever Amen!
