Grateful Challenge Day 7: I am so grateful that I am giddy, many times each and everyday, that I was able to quit smoking! A pack a day smoker for 16 years, I tried to quit about 8 times over the years. It took me 5 months of solid effort and a few attempts, but I was finally able to quit and have remained a nonsmoker for almost 3 1/2 years. HOORAY! YIPPIE! HONK, HONK! I am grateful to Buck for having been my main motivator and for dealing with me during the tough times while i was quitting, I am grateful to Susan @ Aculaser Treatment Center for always being patient with me and for giving me a few breaks on the repeat treatments. I am grateful that she recommended Allen Carrs book & Im grateful to Allen Carr for writing The Easy Way to Quit Smoking - it actually did make it much easier! I am grateful for each deep breath, each clear thought, every fresh scent & every dollar not spent! I am grateful for FB for being an easy method to spread the word about the book though the group page I have set up - It has been rewarding to connect with folks around the world and try to help them stay focused and motivated. I am grateful each and every time a friend of mine decides to read the book, or just quits any ole way really. I feel so bad for smokers and wish them all the courage to take over that awful addiction. I feel so much better mentally, physically, emotionally since having quit = grateful! I feel as though my personal consciousness & spiritual enlightment paths completely took off at a warp speed once all those nasty chemicals were rid from my body and for that I am truly blessed & grateful
