Gratitude Challenge........Day 10 Well, my friends....this is the last day of my Gratitude Challenge presented to me by my beautiful and most caring neighbor Abby Batchelder. This really has been a most meaningful and spiritually fulfilling journey. I learned so much about myself and the people around me. At this point, rather than share with you all 3 more life happenings that I am so very grateful for, I thought I would share with you a personal prayer. Ever since I was baptized by Pastor Timothy Hawkins at The Bible Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in 2004, I have said this prayer EVERY single morning without fail........I hereby close my Gratitude Challenge with my own daily prayer: Dear Lord, Heavenly Father.......I thank you Lord for opening my eyes and letting me see the light of another beautiful day. Father, I am so grateful for every blessing you have bestowed upon me through the power of your magnificent spirit. On this day, I ask Lord that you walk with me with your right arm secure around my shoulder, and that you guide me through the course of my day. I ask Lord that you keep me motivated, keep me strong, keep me positive, and keep moving in the right direction. Dear Lord.......help me to change the things that I need to change, and I thank you for all the things that you have helped me to change. On this day Heavenly Father, I ask that you continue to bless the people who are close to me.......bless my brothers and my mother. And I also ask that you bless my granddaughter, my daughter, my daughters mother and my son-in-law Frank......please help us to find a kidney for him so that he may live a full life and continue to support and love his daughter. In your name and in your holy spirit I pray to you, Heavenly Father......Amen.
