#GratitudeChallenge: I watched with excitement the #IceBucket - TopicsExpress

#GratitudeChallenge: I watched with excitement the #IceBucket challenge that trended few months ago among American celebrities who were raising awareness for a research program me. I was fascinated at the African version of it among Nollywood celebrities who are creating awareness for Ebola Virus Disease. Here on Facebook is a modified #Gratitude_Challenge - where challengers hindsight helps him to express gratitude to individuals who had made indelible marks in their lives On Sunday I got a #GratitudeChallenge from Mrs. Eunice Peter Udensi but would like to sum up my GRATITUDE of 7days in this one piece due to other prevailing circumstances. It took me several hours to come out with this piece of my mind. I ve got countless people whom I am grateful to, for their pivotal roles in lifting me to where I am today...but permit me to mention but few of such names as I am able to remember. First and foremost, my unalloyed gratitude goes to my beloved parent who preserved me as a seed and gave me as a gift to my generation: Elder D. N Ejeagba and Ezinne Rose Ejeagba. You taught me how to serve God, respect men and humiliate the devil. You contained my stubbornness and excessiveness with a measure of discipline To my one and only brother -Oge, you modeled and molded me to be a reader and good mathematician, then to my Supa Sistas (Nekky, Nasa, Tochi, Bridget and Nonso) - you always believed in me. I am highly grateful to Late Elder Jonah Arisa...only God knows how much you mean to me even in death. My story can never be complete without you. You believed in me even who you have no reasons to, you defeated doubting fears and invested in my idea...you are a hero. You motivated me even when I am in despair; you trusted me and showed me kindness even when I dont deserve it. You stood tall like among those that inspired me... You gave me a shoulder to lean on; and you carried me on your shoulder so I can see far. I leveraged on your wisdom to get a platform I still stand on. I am highly indebted to you in cash and in gratitude. If there is truth in reincarnation...I will still be your friend, partner and foster child. My gratitude also goes to my close pals, Bestman Ikenna Samuel, friendship with you worth more than a thousand others, Faith Ihechi- You taught me selflessness, Emma Jerry-good friend of a good man, Daniel Ndukwe Awa, King Machi To Dr. Blesyn Uzoma Uzosike, you fell in love with me in my pool of blood You defiled protocols and ethics to save my life. Your team of fellow student doctors and assisting nurses mocked you yet you saved me in that emergency ward. I dont know where and how to meet you but I owe you many gratitude. To my older friends and mentors who believed and tolerated my persistence: Rev. Jerry Agharanya ( fmr. AGDS), Pst. Anta Oko (Royalty Assembly) Rev. Dufus Achifusi (Dominion City), Pst. Paul Adefarasin (House On The Rock), Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa (Fmr. Abia State Commissioner of Education), Dr. Jones O.U. Ogwo ( Gas Export, DPR) Dr. Mike Okoro (Vote For Jesus) Dr. Mike Iheukwumere (Ihemba Group), Lady Chinedu Brown (Fmr. Abia State Commissioner for Women Affairs), Mrs. Elizabeth Agbai (NTA, Abuja), Rev. Imo Orji (The Refuge), Chief Jerry Kalu (Osimiri), Elder Peter Ejiogu (Crunches Fried Chicken) To my team members, fellow volunteers and partners at CHILDFEST, I may not have been fair to you but I am highly indebted to you. Your contribution to my vision is inestimable... I may not remember how and where we first met, but I cant forget why we met...you remain the reason why I kept the hope alive. Udeme Isaiah (My pioneer partner), Johnson Chuks Nwachukwu, Ugochukwu Daniel Nwachukwu, Eunice Kalu (Black) Favour Okoro (Flavour), Nice (Adanma),John Daniel (Pal-J), Ernest Okorie ( Showbobo), John Arisa (Showman), Isaac Arisa(Weeping Pastor), Sunday Onyenachiya (E-Pastor), Kanuchy, John Ekekwe (Jeeco), Martha Dike, Pst. Ray Illen, James Nduka, Ogechukwu Onwuelu, Chinasa Okorie (Queen of Abia, 2007), Chibuisi Eleke, Chy Chy Eboh (Sunshine) To my younger friend who believed in my course and projects: Ihezie Moses, Michael Onyeforo, Favour Amara and numerous kids that won CHILDFEST. AWARDS prizes in Aba, Umuahia, Owerri and Enugu. Having done little justice to this challenge, I hereby nominate my dearest cousin Ejeagba Saint Ikechukwu, and my youngest uncle Ogwo Kenneth Kalu to take this challenge and pour gratitude to those who have in one or many ways affected their lives. *Winks* Please remind me if I forgot anyone.
