Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things. It is with humbled hearts that we gather together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the serenity of nature. We thank you for the rushing of waters that flow from the mountaintops to hydrate us. May we work to keep them free from pollution. We thank you for the wisdom that can be found in the trees when we learn to empty our minds and listen. We thank you for the gentle winds that flow over the grassy meadows and the music that can be found there. We thank you for the rainforests that give us the air that allows us to survive. May we endeavor to keep them clean, after the era of pollution has ended. We thank you for the stillness of the lakes and oceans in the early morning hours as they bring peace to our spirits. We thank you for the sacredness of the circle found throughout your creation, from the outer expanse of the Universe to the cycle of life found in the seasonal changes. We thank you for the numerous plants and herbs that provide us with nourishment and cures for our bodies. We thank you for the knowledge that we are spiritual beings residing in these fleshly bodies. We ask for contentment to what we have without the pressure of needing more than what is necessary to survive. We ask for an end to the greed that can be found throughout the four corners. We ask for protection, strength and guidance as we stand against those that would continue to destroy all that you have created. We ask for clogged ears to open and closed eyes to see, so that we do not lose our culture and heritage. We ask for greater unity where division among your people no longer exists. We ask for a greater spiritual awakening in a time of great turmoil. We ask for hardened hearts to soften and compassion builds so we may see and assist those that are in great need. We ask for a bountiful harvest of crops so we may be able to place food on the plates of all people. We ask for an end to the abductions of our children and women. We ask for an end to the violence against them as well. We ask for guidance each day as we continue along our paths. May we journey with strong legs and compassionate hearts. We ask for the release of those incarcerated without just cause. We ask for a time of peace, where true equality is present and greater understanding is granted to all people. We ask for patience when we tend to rush into things instead of waiting for your guidance to proceed. We thank you for our Elders that give us the wisdom and instruction to build a better future for our children. We thank you for the innocence and lessons long forgotten when our children speak. We thank you for the rains that come to bring moisture to dry lands. We thank you for the ever expanse of the Universe that surrounds us and is the center of our being. We thank you for all answered prayers. We thank you for the guidance you have provided to those that look toward you and open their hearts to you. We thank you for the wisdom that can be found in our hearts. We thank you for the gift of life and the many blessings you have bestowed upon us. Emenv
