Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with humbled hearts that we gather together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the this time of spiritual awakening that will begin to unite the four colors from across many lands. We thank you for the understanding that all life from the mountaintops to the ocean floors are sacred. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. For the waters that flow from snowcapped mountains that hydrate our bodies, we thank you. We thank you for the rainforests that provide us with the air to breathe. We thank you for our Earth Mother as she supplies us with the many plants and herbs that serve to both nourish and cure us. We thank you for the rising of Grandfather Sun each morning as he reminds us of the beauty that is found in all life. We thank you for Grandmother Moon as she watches over us during our slumber. We ask for great healing, Father, for those that are suffering from many afflictions, diseases and disorders. For those that face operations, we ask for your guiding hands to be present. We ask for the release of the walls we build up within ourselves so we may begin to purify our spirit. For those that are depressed and low in spirit, we ask for comfort and guidance. We ask for strength, guidance and courage for those that stand against those that would further destroy what you have created. We ask for guidance and strength for those that are destined to educate their young on the old ways. We ask for protection for our animal Brothers that continue to face annihilation from those that are without understanding. We ask for comfort for those that have lost loved ones. We ask for strength, guidance and courage for those that are now on their walk toward the next phase of life. We ask for an end to all violence, greed, hatred, lust and materialistic desires. We ask instead for an era of peace and equality for all people. We ask for a greater compassion and awareness for the homeless and the poor. For those that are in need, we ask that their needs be met with overabundance. We ask for an end to all things that serve to divide us. We ask for forgiveness; we have strayed from our path; we have brought destruction to the lands, water and sky; we have taken more than what we have needed; we have been envious of our neighbors; we have brought dishonor to ourselves and to you. We ask for the release of all of our Brothers and Sisters that have been incarcerated purely for political means and bring them home to their family and friends. We ask for an end to the Governments that seek only to impose control upon their citizenry and keep the masses divisive among each other. We thank you for the rains that fall from the clouds that bring purification and growth to the lands. We thank you for family and friends that aid us along our journey when they are most needed. We thank you for the coolness of the air and beauty of the colored leaves as our Earth Mother prepares herself for the coming season of slumber. We thank you for our Elders that continue to provide wisdom and instruction for present times. We thank you for our children that show us many things we have forgotten over time. We thank you for the answering of prayers. For the sacredness of the circle found in all things, we thank you. We thank you for the precious gift of life. Emenv
