Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things seen and unseen, it is with humbled hearts that we come together as one to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the knowledge that in our darkest hours, you are there with us to give comfort and peace. We thank you for those that come to us, even for a short while, to give us insight, comfort and guidance. We thank you for the many signs, through the animals, that come to us when we are in need. We thank you for the hummingbird that brings us healing and comfort; the wolf that brings us strength and unity; the eagle that shows us that we can weather the storms of life; and the hawk that teaches us perseverance. We thank you for showing us that though there will be storms in our lives, the sun will always return. We thank you for the great waters that aid in sustaining life. We thank you for the denseness of the rainforests that give us the air to breathe. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. For the cool evening breeze that brings comfort after a long, hot day, we thank you. We thank you for the many lakes and streams that allow us to recreate during our days of relaxation. We thank you for the clouds and the trees that give shade on the hot days of Summer. We thank you for the majestic mountains that show us the magnificence of your creation. We thank you for all two-leggeds, four-legged, swimmers, fliers, and crawlers. We thank you for the many rocks and grains of sands that remind us of the uniqueness of each individual. We thank you for the sacredness of the ground that holds the history and blood of our ancestors. We thank you for the sacredness of the circle that is found in all things, from the vastness of the Universe that surrounds us to the smallest birds nest as it sits among the branches. We thank you for the knowledge that all things have life and are there for us to utilize as they were given. We thank you for our Elders that give to us the wisdom of the present and past. We thank you for our children that will soon carry on and add strength to the lives of others. We thank you for your guidance and your gifts. We thank you for the understanding that all things have a purpose, where one thing cannot survive without the other. We thank you for this connection to all things and the knowledge that there is so much complexity is all that you do. We thank you for our trials and our thorns that strengthen us and ensure we are not boastful, but humble during our journey. Emenv
