Great speaking opportunity today. Such a friendly and welcoming group. Lots of positive comments. First time talking about my experience as a living donor in addition to that of a donor mom and daughter of a heart recipient. I cried but then again, I usually do. Happy I brought 8x10 pics of my Dad and of my kidney recipient Ryan DaSilva to go along with the picture I always bring of CJ. The faces make it real. Thanks Rachel Beth Randall for shadowing me today - I think youre going to make a great NEOB volunteer.
