Great to have some local government landscape work! Officially off the tools again, project managing, construction detail designing and coordinating schedules of works, subbies, materials, budgets, etc. When it rains it pours! Decisions decisions........ a) Return to Adelaide after this 3 month contract with Gympie Shire and take Green Star Design to the next level (with a likely Adelaide Hills multi stage sub-division landscape contract). b) Stay at Gympie Council longer as I think they want to extend... Or c) take a 2 year contract working for Sunshine Coast Council as a Landscape Architect, based at Caloundra. Just received a 2 year contract offer. Which page do I turn to? Which decision will create the best Future outcome? Times like these id love a crystal ball. Can be great to have these opportunities, but makes for a tough decision! Gotta Love the Delonix Regia (Poinciana) trees up here. They flower at the same time of the year as the Jacaranda mimosifolia trees. So if planted nearby you get that abundant red of the Poinciana in contrast to a profusion of purple of the Jacaranda. Its pretty surreal really! Not to mention the Pandanas around Noosa... Awesome looking plant!
