Green Run-Green Fun! Moldova Holiday invites everyone who enjoy healthy life style to participate in the second edition of Green Run. Explore Moldova, USAID CEED II and the National Inbound Tourism Association of Moldova invites you to participate in the second edition of the „Green Run”. This year the competition will take place on June 7-8 in a beautiful area on the bank of Nistru River, near the village Tarasova, Rezina rayon. The distance from Chisinau to the place where the event will take place is 160 km. However, the experience of the beautiful and wild nature, as well as the entertainment and physical exercise opportunities will make the trip worth while. The event will consist of running and biking races, kayaking on Nistru, trips to a cave located nearby, concerts, handcrafts fair and a lot of fun. You will be able to find accommodation opportunities through „Hai la tara” (Come to the countryside) program, being able to spend the night in the houses of locals and experience the true hospitality of rural people. Or you may choose camping, which is a great opportunity to spend some time outdoors. On the first day the running competitions on 500 meters, 10 km and 20 km distance will take place. The second day the bikers will participate in biking races on 3, 30 and 60 km distances, as well as a 8 km distance will be covered by kayak along the river bank. The participants will pay a 200 lei participation fee and will use their own transportation means to get from Chișinău to Rezina, or the organizers can provide paid transportation services.
