Greenfield man wanted for a warrant for distribution of heroin was arrested and faces additional charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin. On December 27th at approximately 1:54am while on routine patrol in the area of the Circle K gas station on the corner of Mohawk Trail and Colrain Rd, Officer Cody Guilbault noticed 27 year old Phillip Estabrook of 3 Oak St Greenfield exiting the store. It was known to the officer that Phillip Estabrook had an active warrant for possession of a class A (Heroin). Upon placing Mr. Estabrook under arrest for the warrant, Estabrook admitted to having three buns of heroin on him. Buns is a street term for bundles, a bundle normally contains 10 bags. During booking Officer Guilbault located 62 bags of what appears to be heroin, a small black phone and $64.00 Mr. Estabrook is facing additional charges of possession with intent to distribute a class A substance (heroin). Bail was set by Clerk Chaffee at $3,000, he was transported to the Franklin County House of Correction until court resumes.
