Greetings Atwater folk. My parents moved from Monrovia in the early fifties to Minneapolis, came back three years later and initially stayed in an apartment on Sunset in Silverlake in 1957 I believe, down the street from the now gone Pioneer market. Shortly thereafter we moved to a place on Appleton and Edenhurst and I was enrolled in Holy Trinity. I subsequently went to Pater Noster High school and about six months after I graduated, my parents moved to Glendale. Our first landlord was a Mr. Notti. A great old school Italian guy. Later we moved down Edenhurst to a corner a block down from the Griffith Park Press and a later move to Larga just above Silverlake pretty near Caravellas store. Ill post a couple of the few pictures I have.
