Greetings Friends and Family ... Great news! I just finished speaking with Tom’s Step-Mother and Tom has come through his heart surgery with flying colors! The doctors were able to successfully complete all four of the intended bypasses and the valve they believed needed to be replaced actually did not after getting a closer look. Tom is recovering in ICU and will be unable to receive phone calls or visits for the next couple of days. His Step-Mother has requested that we respect this and not try to get in touch with him over the weekend. Assuming Tom’s recovery continues to go well, we may expect to be able to visit with him by phone or in person as we move into next week. Please continue to hold Tom and his caregivers in your thoughts and prayers as we gather with friends and family to give thanks to God over the next few days! Pastor Matthew Means
