Greetings, This is Tee Chia Sim from B.ED. TESL, Sem 1A . I just received news that we need to pay extra charges for the electricity charges. First, we were informed that our hostel fee is RM 900 per semester. Now in the picture below, it says RM 800 per semester but we have EXTRA CHARGES for the usage of laptop, phone charger, iron, kettle and also extra fan. Is RM 800 per semester not enough to cover the utility bills? There are six person living in a hostel, so is RM 4, 800 per semester not enough to pay off the utility bills? In my personal opinion, students dont even use electricity and water excessively. Is it not enough to ensure that the WiFi is working? Is it not enough to ensure that we have a steady and constant supply of water? Is RM 96, 000 not enough to ensure that an ENTIRE hostel block run smoothly for four months? May I know our complete rent structure? As students, we should know what our money is spent on, instead of blindly paying the necessary outstanding balance just to get into the examination hall. Please give us some insight into this matter. Thank you.
