Greetings everyone! I posted a beautiful clip of Eva Cernik in connection with our upcoming Intensive next week, and now want to post a floorwork clip of me in one of my favorite performances. Ive selected a dramatic excerpt, but I want to say that our Floor Workshop next Sunday will be suitable for dancers at all levels. We work slowly, covering a wide range of expressive movements, from standing descents to the floor, to stationary movements on the knees, traveling on the knees, arches and flatback sequences. There is a careful development of the technique to avoid injuries, and all can work at their own pace and capability. Class will provide stretches and a thorough warmup. So dont feel like you have to be an acrobat to attend! And by the way, in the old days it was traditional to do a Zar at the end of the floorwork section. I hope you enjoy it!
