Grief is an invisible right hook. When it hits you, you double over involuntarily, because it hurts like hell and you just need to be left alone because theres nothing anyone can do, you will be ok, and you feel a little stupid anyway- with the exception of the one or two people in your inner-inner circle who know how to say nothing and just sit there with you until it is over. Sometimes its the weather, or the way the sun shines, or music that reminds you of them, or everything at once. Today was one of those days . Just stepping outside on a beautiful day, taking a break from working, and somewhere someone was playing this- - and my little brother did that just for me. (He just wanted to say hello again).
