Grim. Walking through the woods at the edge of West Lavington this morning, a 4x4 drove past me up a little used track. It stopped at the top of the hill and the driver got out to retrieve a beautiful deer that they had obviously shot last night. Alas, I didnt have my camera and wasnt about to get into a stand-up argument with 4 armed goons in the middle of a remote wood. One of the passengers got out to help get the animal in the flat back and seemed very defensive in telling me how important it was to cull the animals. Perhaps there is a case to cull deer in some areas (not that I would necessarily agree with that case), but there are certainly not rampant herds round here, and in response to you trying to justify your sport as conservation, may I be allowed to retort that all 4 of you are - excuse my language - pathetic, brutal twats of the first order. https://youtube/watch?v=Cu_0h2GZXJQ
