Growing up without a dad/father wasnt the best feeling in the world but once I got to know GOD I realized HIS love for me out weighs all the love that shouldve been there. I know that feel & when you dont know GOD & HIS love it can be hard to deal with; I hurt for the children who dads mistreat them, disappoint them & lie to them because they upset or mad at mother. I pray that once they know GOD for who HE truly is than they will experience a love like no other. Its not the childrens fault that dads choose to do these hurtful things to their children. Children had nothing to do with what took place so they should never be hurt nor should their hearts ever be broken by the one who claim to love them so much. No one should be able to keep you from what you love so dads stop using excuses & blaming the mother for your selfishness! If you can make time to be with the fellas, your boo, your game console, your job, your car, your brother, your smoke hobbies, your street hustle, then you can make time for the children GOD blessed you to have. To be given the title FATHER is a blessing but if you mistreat your blessing; what makes you feel you deserve the.title? Stop using excuses like I dont know how to be a dad because my dad wasnt there for me or he was there but he wasnt a good example If you truly want to be a good dad, go to the one who can teach you & develop you; GOD! Stop with all the excuses. Our young men need good father figures especially our young black men. Our young ladies need good father figures to show them the respect they deserve from men. So neither with settle for less. GOD can give you everything you need if you truly want to be the father you were designed to be. Quit making excuses & quit blaming everyone else for your chooses. Oh you feel bad causes you cant provide the material things...oh get over it! The love, time & attention you give your child will be cherished in their hearts more than any pair of shoes, shirts, pants, game, or check. Get it together & drop all the lame excuses. Regardless of what your dad did, regardless of what goes on between you & the mother of your children. If you arent behind
