Growth, Devt Come With Sacrifice —Uduaghan Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has said it was better to bear the pains associated with development than to continuously live in a deplorable condition. Addressing traders at Slaughter Market, Refinery Road, Warri, the governor observed that developmental projects, especially the ongoing removal of illegal structures will certainly cause pains to people but that such pains will be short-lived as palliative measures have also been put in place for people affected by the removal of illegal structures. “We must clean up Warri; we cannot continue to live in a dirty environment”, Dr Uduaghan said, adding, “people should go into the markets and stop using Caravans to trade on the streets.” He added, “we should be proud of a good environment; we should keep our environment clean,” reiterating that he was aware that people are complaining about the pains they are undergoing as a result of the ongoing development in the state.
