Growth Key 1 NUTRITION YOU CANNOT EXPECT TO GROW IN KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT DELIBERATE STUDING THE WORD. ‘As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.’ – 1 Peter 2:2 THERE IS NO GROUTH WITHOUT INTAKE: without eating. You are what you eat. What you eat, gives you the energy to grow. You must eat to grow. This is simple but critical. Wanting to grow without eating is like wanting to harvest without sowing seeds. YOU CANNOT EXPECT TO GROW IN KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT DELIBERATE STUDING THE WORD You need a balanced and consistent diet. Enough variety to keep you interested and touch every area of need but regular enough to replenish anything lost. No matter how delicious last night’s dinner was, no one says ‘last night’s dinner was so good, I don’t need to eat today!’ You need to eat everyday. To grow spiritually you must eat daily. BEWARE OF JUNK FOOD. Junk food has no nutritional value and only adds fat to you. It might be pleasant in the moment but leaves you with weight that will take much longer to get rid of. Hallelujah Gossip, slander, backbiting, unforgiveness, hatred, malice, evil reports, unbalanced theology are all examples of spiritual junk food. Junk food adds fat to you and fat is weight. The more spiritual junk food you take, the more fat you are adding to your spirit. No wonder you are so weighed down. [To discern junk food ask questions like: what is the end goal of this word? Will this help my faith? Why dont him just stop this posting? In what spirit is this word coming?]. It is time to lay aside every weight and run with patience the race that is set before you. For deliberate growth you have to move from milk to meat. You cannot drink milk alone and expect to grow. To mature you must take more than milk. You must eat meat. You must take on challenging questions with God’s Word. For Deliberate Growth you must Eat Right! I say to you, eat the undiluted word of God today for your growth. Hallelujah Stay tune
