This is an extremely disturbing video that my friend Robin Richmond Reichman posted about the fur practices in China, and BCBG Mx Azrias use of these furs. If you are weak of stomach you may not want to view - it made me burst into tears. But its not just them. Please, if you buy anything from China that even has what is billed as fake fur on it - look closely. I was given a Sun Ice jacket for Christmas from my mom a few years ago - made in China. It had real fur on the collar. I returned it. Yes, I realise that we eat animals, and that horrific practices are everywhere. I will not shop at BCBG ever again until they change their practice of using fur and angora. And I am going to me more vigilant in what I buy, who I buy from, and where their suppliers are located - and THEIR practices. Small steps can make big changes.
