Guernsey Police have confirmed an elderly man has died in a traffic accident on the islands west coast this afternoon. The mans next of kin have been informed, but formal identification hasnt taken place, and investigations are continuing. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact Sergeant Tom Marshall on 725111. The section of Cobo Coast Road has now reopened to traffic.
