I have committed to help a friend who lives in Romania and has dedicated her life to helping the street dogs. She has moved to a run down house that has a bit of land and is building a mini sanctuary/shelter to home as many street dogs as she can to prevent them being beaten, starved shot or thrown into a public shelter which are hell holes on earth. The bitter Romanian winter is closing in fast over there and 360 Euro or £270 is needed to build a big and strong wooden kennel with a wooden shelter for many of the dogs to sleep in and get some protection from the snow and rain. She has 33 dogs the moment that one day we prey will adopted and move into loving homes but this will make way for more street dogs that so desperately need protection from the elements and the Massacre that happening out there. I have never done a sponsored anything or asked for money in a fundraiser before so I am hoping my friends will contribute as this cause is so very close to my heart!
