Guilty Pleasures Playlist Day #2 Making Love Out of Nothing at All - Air Supply Okay, Im really going to go out on limb here and confess that not only do I rather like this song, but I actually like Air Supply, in general, far more than I probably should. This song was written by Jim Steinman, who also wrote most of Meatloafs songs, as well as the Bonnie Tyler hit Total Eclipse of the Heart, which climbed the charts at roughly the same time as Making Love. Steinman likes to use those very dramatic, hooky piano openings and this is, maybe, the catchiest of all of them. Yes, every time this one comes around on the playlist I feel like I should turn in my man card, but hey, lifes full of contradictions. Oh, and check out the hairdos on the video. Seriously, what were they thinking?
