#GutCheck BootCamp Day #15: Practice Planning Though sometimes I admit, I fail to do it, there are great benefits in planning your day, week, and month. The best time to do it is the night, week, or month before. Planning helps you maintain focus and keeps you prepared for unexpected obstacles or even unexpected downtime. If you create a to do list at the end of your day for the following day and you commit to completing it come hell or high water, imagine how much you would get done and how quickly youd do it. I shared with the Turkey Burn group Thanksgiving morning about not asking where time has gone, but telling it where to go. Every person has 24 hours each day, and what we do with that 24 matters. If there is something you really want to accomplish, adopt the 6x1=6 principle. Devote one hour a day, six days a week to the project. Your desire will become a reality before you know it. That is 312 hours a year btw. Gain control of your time, and you will gain control of your life. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance!
