Gymnastics NSW mourns the loss of Life Member John Hendry It is with great sadness that Gymnastics NSW conveys to you the message that Life Member John Hendry passed away this morning 5 September 2013. The President of Trampoline Sports NSW from 1982 – 1992, Vice President of the Australian Trampoline Sports Union from the late 80’s – early 90’s, a national selector from the late 80’s – early 90’s, Australia’s delegate to the International Trampoline Federation, Assistant Manager for National Teams that attended World Championships in 1984 (Osaka, Japan), 1986 (Paris, France), 1990 (Essen, Germany) and 1992 (Auckland, New Zealand) and more recently Gymnastics NSW Trampoline Sports Management Committee Chairperson until 2011 - during his final year while receiving chemotherapy, John has made a truly significant and selfless contribution towards the growth, development and success of trampoline sports in New South Wales. John will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. The thoughts of Gymnastics NSW are with John’s family during this difficult time.
