H422YS Rant: The Quinnspiracy In case you havent heard of this yet, and its quite possible you havent, so dont feel bad, know that the implications it has are huge and and far reaching in the gaming world. To make what is a very long story short, recent events involving a game developer named Zoe Quinn have led to the uncovering of evidence within the gaming journalism world that suggest corruption and bribery are common business practices for some major players. I wont go into details here due to the content that is contained within, but I will provide plenty of links for you to check out, all sfw, just use some earbuds. I for one will never again take anything said by a writer of Gawker or Kotaku at face value again as they are the main culprits in this entire web of lies and intrigue. If you regularly get your gaming news from places such as IGN, Rock Paper Shotgun or Eurogamer and you havent seen any mention of this, ask why they havent addressed this (yesterday Eurogamer did the opposite and tried to turn public opinion the other way with a puff piece on Ms. Quinn). We already knew that mainstream news is corrupt, but gaming news has always seemed to be removed from that part of the news world. No more.
