HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO OUR PHILIPPINE NAVY SPECIAL OPERATIONS GROUP/NAVSOG!!! The Philippine Navy Special Warfare Group better known as SWAG celebrates its founding anniversary today (November 5, 1956) whose predecessor unit is the Underwater Operations Team/UOT which was similar to the U.S. Underwater Demolition Team/UDT. Our SWAG team of today has been renamed NAVSOG or Naval Special Operations Group. They are the equivalent of the U.S. Navy SEALS. Many of our Magdalo brothers are part of the SWAG. To them and the entire NAVSOG, we greet you a Happy Anniversary! HOOYAH!
