HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SAPPHIRE (CARMELIA RYIEL’ WARD)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the 18th day of August 1997, sixteen years ago I gave birth to a unique, rare, and special jewel. Baby Girl you are the world’s most precious gift. You have so much life in you and you will and shall be an awesome being/forced to be reckoned with, because God decreed and declared it to you, your Father, and me when you were born. You are love and love is you. Sixteen is the number of love and you are the greatest gift of love ever given to me. Regardless of the mistakes, fears, and pressures from school, associates, life, and yourself, press on and go forward in love. My Sapphire (My Jewel) I pray the blessings of God and His favor to forever reign and keep you stable and focused. I know that you believe and it is what makes you powerful. Read the following speak it for yourself and know why you are whom you are. I believe that what I believe makes me what I am. I believe that I am a child of the most High God. I am called to be on this earth a living example, holy, acceptable of righteousness and doing a reasonable work (service) wholeheartedly while here. A Christian is a believer in (advocate of something) or follower of Christ. I believe in Christ, so therefore I advocate daily to live so that others are compelled to come to me and ask why I am so different. I must admit that there are times, when I have been disrespected and have witnessed disrespect even in the house of worship, but I know whom I serve and I know the purpose of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know and stand firm in the truth. I am always seeking a deeper walk and relationship with God. I am always searching the Holy Word for intimacy, understanding, and knowledge, so that I will never misrepresent God. My faith is what makes me who I am in God. As long as my foundation is solid, no one can shake me or make me doubt Him. I believe that the Holy Spirit is my comforter and my leader into all truths. I shall not fear because according to Joshua 1:5-9 God promised me that “No one shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life…do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” No matter the trials or tribulations, I know that God has me covered. Repentance daily and trust are the assurance of my faith. I must seek His face and stand strong in the midst of adversity. I am my Father’s child. Therefore, I know who I am, I believe in Jesus Christ, and that is what makes me, shapes me, and molds me. I know who you are and now as you go forth in this season of your 16th year enjoy being different, being you, and celebrating God. You shall succeed and you shall overcome all obstacles, because His unmerited favor, grace, peace, and love shows, and beams through you and you shall be what He needs now. Enjoy your time. Love You!
