.................HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!........ JESUS LIVES!.................... It had been the most tragic, unfair, sadistic and brutal event in history. A kind, innocent, benevolent man died a most horrible death. And the worst way to die of that day......crucifixion! He would be beaten, crowned with thorns, nails through His hands and feet, run through with a spear and the historians say in the end he would die of asphyxiation. Placed in a sealed tomb and for those who called themselves Christians the three-day wait would seem interminable. During that time Im quiet sure hells party was going on...It had started on Friday since the Master had said, It is finished! Oh the demons danced, hooted and high fived each other. Im sure of that....that is until hells door was kicked in!.......In strode the Savior, and with outstretched hand he was saying Give them to me! He wasnt asking he was demanding! And satan with trembling hand dropped the keys of death, hell and the grave into the shining nail pierced hand of the Master. And without another word He turns his back and walks away. And on that bright and shining Sunday morning as the ladies named Mary stepped inside the empty tomb, the angel declared the greatest event in the history of mankind!.... Matthew 28:6-7 (KJV) 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; .................. And now the song rings in my ears this morning. Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone, Because I know He holds the future. And life is worth the living just because He lives. .................HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!........ JESUS LIVES!.....................
