HC notice to ex-CPS Fouji in job scam Tribune News Service Chandigarh, October 7 Taking cognizance of allegations levelled by a "whisteblower" in a recruitment rip-off in Haryana, the Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice to former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ram Kishan Fouji. Notice has also been issued to the SPs of Yamunanagar and Bhiwani. The notice came after Anand Kumar of Yamunanagar alleged threat to his life and liberty from Fouji. In his petition, Kumar alleged he was being pressured to withdraw the complaint against Fouji. Describing himself as `whistleblower' , Kumar claimed since he dared to unearth the job-for-cash scam in Haryana, he was receiving threats from unknown persons. Kumar alleged Fouji had demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to offer the job of a JBT teacher to him. "The petitioner met Fouji who assured of help subject to the fact that he should be given Rs 5 lakh ", the petition added. Kumar added he borrowed money from his relatives and family friends to pay the bribe for the recruitment, which took place in 2010. Two years later, he "out of guilt" decided to "expose" the recruitment scam.
