HELP A FELLOW-FOLLOWER? She asks: Is my toddler the only one who sleepwalks at night? At a year and a half old we found our toddler bent over the couch sleeping in the middle of the night; every other time our son would happen to get out of bed before us he would just come to our room, so we decided hes a sleepwalker. After than night, we started putting a baby gate up whenever he went to bed so that he cant roam around the house or go outside in his sleep. Gradually, he started to climb over the gate, so we have gates up in his doorway from top to bottom. I did actually talk to our doctor about this once, and she said it is fairly common and that they usually grow out of it. I doubt our kiddo will grow out of it though since he has a parent who walks and talks in his sleep. Im just curious about others experiences with this.
